One box does it all

The Technics SC-C70MK2 really is the one-box system that does it all. A powerful amp combines with newly improved speaker system to deliver room-filling sound. 

Streaming music options include Chromecast, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth and a whole host of music streaming services.

When you don’t want to stream, there’s also a DAB/FM tuner to hand. Unlike most premium systems, the SC-C70MK2 also features a built-in CD player – keeping you in touch with your favourite silver discs.

Newly developed speaker system with 2.1 channel sound

Packed in to this compact system is a top quality, 2.1 speaker system. Two-way, stereo speakers combine new, 8cm mid-range units with Hi-res compatible, silk tweeters. 

Between them, they create a broad soundstage with crystalline resolution. Fitted with acoustic lenses, the tweeters project the sound further into the room, for an open and transparent sound.

Bringing some muscle to your music, the dedicated subwoofer uses the bass reflex cabinet to expand the music’s dynamics.

Full of Technics knowhow, the SC-C70MK2 delivers a stunning sound from a compact box.

Helping to reduce distortion to a minimum is the 3-channel JENO (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimization) engine. 

The Technics system reduces jitter at both ends of the frequency range, giving you crystal-clear clarity.

It also features LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration). This uses corrective processing to get the perfect alignment with the built-in speakers.

Space Tune Auto features a built-in mic and processing software that analyses the room’s acoustics via test tones and adjusts the output to suit. 

All this is done at the touch of a button, so there’s no need for complex set-ups. There are also three presets, giving optimum settings for free standing, near-wall and in-corner locations.

Advanced networking including Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth

Built-in Chromecast is the perfect partner for your Android smartphone. It gives easy access to a vast range of music and podcast apps, all intuitively controllable from your smartphone.

Built-in Apple AirPlay 2 means that you can stream music from your Apple iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad or other compatible Apple device, wirelessly. Bluetooth gives quick and easy access for friends to play music from their phone or for when the wi-fi might be down.

As well as built-in streaming, radio and CD player, the SC-C70MK2 acts as the hub of your system.

Use the optical digital input to connect your TV or games console. A 3.5mm analogue input is ideal for use with a phono pre-amp equipped turntable or line level source.

A USB-A input lets you plug in your memory stick and easily access digital tracks and playlists.
