The smart Sensor Control Set from Gardena allows fully automatic, optimum and on-demand watering of your garden.
It consists of the smart Sensor, the smart Water Control and the smart Gateway.
Monitor & adjust from your phone
In combination with the free GARDENA smart App for iOS or Android, you can set individual watering times and measure moisture quickly and accurately. The compact and precise smart Sensor has an extra-large sensor zone and measures the moisture of the soil at the roots of the plants, exactly where you need it.
The measured values such as the moisture level and the current ground temperature are sent via the Internet directly to the GARDENA smart App on your smartphone or tablet via thesmart Gateway.
You can now monitor, activate and adjust your garden's irrigation system at any time, anywhere.
Soil Moisture Sensor
The watering is operated via the smart Water Control, which is installed simply and directly on the garden tap and allows you to program various different schedules. Using the data collected by the sensor, you can now irrigate your garden efficiently and economically according to your needs. The intelligent irrigation system ensures that your lawn is only watered if the soil moisture measured by the smart Sensor falls below a certain value. This prevents the garden from being watered unnecessarily after long periods of rain. This does not only protect your garden, but also saves precious water.
Automatic Watering Water Control
The smart Water Control can be switched on and off manually at the touch of a button. In the event of frost and excessively low temperatures, the smart App warns if smooth operation can no longer be guaranteed, you can even pause your watering schedule using the hibernation mode. T
he smart Sensor Control Set can be expanded at any time with additional devices from the Gardena smart system and is ideally suited for supplementing with Gardena's Micro-Drip-System or the Sprinkler system.
The smart Sensor and the smart Water Control are powered by 2 or 3 AA batteries respectively, which allow wireless operation over a complete garden season.

If you've changed your mind about your purchase and it is in its original condition, you're welcome to return it to us within 90 days for store credit or within 30 days for a cash refund. As per below, exclusions apply.
- The goods must be returned factory sealed & in exactly the same condition that they were received less any additional transit packaging. Items that have been opened, tested and/or installed will default to our standard return policy.
- The serial number or unique identification code must match with the recorded details in our database.
Exclusions:
- This service excludes large & bulky items such as BBQs, outdoor pizza ovens & TVs. These products are covered by our standard returns policy.
- Any special order items that have been ordered at the customers request (such as a colour variant or model that we do not typically range on our website).
