The Naim Streaming Platform

At the heart of Mu-so 2nd Generation is Naim’s music-streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years to offer the very best performance whether playing your own digital music collection, a world of Internet radio, or music streaming services such as TIDAL and Spotify.

This acclaimed innovation is uniquely found in Naim music-streaming products, such as its Uniti range and dedicated network players, including the £20,000 flagship ND 555.

DSP - The heart of the System

The all-new multicore Digital Signal Processor (DSP) drives higher performance, providing 2000 MIPS (Million Instructions Per Second) compared to the original Mu-so’s single-core, 150MIPS DSP.

You can also hear even more from your music.

We have also created a brand new limiter algorithm that keeps each of Mu-so 2nd Generation’s speaker drivers’ movement under control when at high volume levels.

The new limiter, by design; is only active at extreme volume levels, and helps to retain the music’s clarity and increase long term reliability.

Optimised Speaker Drivers

Mu-so 2nd Generation’s 450 Watts of music power are joined by improved and highly optimised speaker drivers – a joint development project between Naim and Focal R&D departments.

Focal has been creating benchmark acoustic equipment since 1979, and its expertise has taken speaker-driver precision and performance to new levels.

We pick, pack and dispatch quicker than anyone else in Ireland and delivery is FREE for orders over €500 or otherwise only €3.95 !

We provide full tracking information with your dispatch confirmation email however if you have any queries please reach out to our support team.

For DPD Ireland deliveries you can track via their iOS/Android apps;

Small - medium appliances

Items sub 30kilos are shipped with DPD Ireland (coffee machines etc).

You can expect a text message on the morning of delivery with a one hour time slot.

You will receive your tracking information upon dispatch (usually the day before delivery).

Large & bulky items

Items over 30KG (BBQs, appliances, OLED & large screen TVs 65"+) are shipped on a pallet delivery service to ensure their safe arrival.

The carrier (Woodsides Logistics) will contact in advance with notice ahead of arrival and we can arrange a suitable day in advance.

Please ensure to include a mobile telephone number on your order and have help on hand to receive the delivery (if necessary).

Installation:

We do not currently offer installation in Ireland however we can provide practical setup advice.

Please note items such as gas hobs & multi-fuel stoves must be installed by a certified professional.

Delivery Estimates

Underneath each product we provide a live delivery estimate which will typically be '1-2 working days' or '3-5 working days'.

Pre-sale items for new product launches are clearly labelled as such with the manufacturer's delivery estimate.

Hold delivery / ETAIf you wish to secure an offer but not receive the goods until later then you can request this in the order delivery notes in the add to cart (or speak to a member of staff).

** We do not deliver goods outside of the Republic of Ireland.

If you've changed your mind about your purchase and it is in its original condition, you're welcome to return it to us within 90 days for store credit or within 30 days for a cash refund. As per below, exclusions apply.

The goods must be returned factory sealed & in exactly the same condition that they were received less any additional transit packaging. Items that have been opened, tested and/or installed will default to our standard return policy.
The serial number or unique identification code must match with the recorded details in our database.

Exclusions:

This service excludes large & bulky items such as BBQs, outdoor pizza ovens & TVs. These products are covered by our standard returns policy.
Any special order items that have been ordered at the customers request (such as a colour variant or model that we do not typically range on our website).
If in doubt, please check with a member of staff via our support or live chat function.

How to arrange a return:

Simply open a ticket by clicking the 'support' button at the bottom of the page or by emailing us.
We will arrange a pick up via DPD on a suitable date. Refunds will be processed within a few business days subject to verification.

This policy applies to orders placed on the 11/09/2022 & beyond.

Is an item in stock?

Our stock system is live therefore if you're able to order an item it is in stock.

The delivery estimate on a product is noted below the product price in the availability bar.

The system will show either an estimate of 1-2 days or 3-5 days for delivery. The estimate is working days excluding weekends & bank holidays.

If an item is sold out the checkout button will be removed & you can click 'email when available' to receive a notification once the product is live for sale again.
